From Laura, in addition to the above:
My blog is my way of paying it forward. As a young first time mommy, I have relied heavily on friends and product reviews on the internet when buying items for my little one. This is especially true during my first few weeks of research and first purchases of cloth diapers. Without other mommies out there giving reviews, it would have been so much harder for me to know what to buy and how to buy. My blog reviews are meant to help other mommies out there who are going through what I have already been through.
All items are either purchased by me or have been given to me free to use and review. I will give my total and honest opinion about the product and will not hold back if I feel negatively toward the product. My opinions are my own and I have not been payed, bribed, or swayed in any way to give a false review.
I would also like to add that I did not start cloth diapering my daughter until she was a year old. So all diapers have been used since that point. It goes without saying that my reviews will be based on what I have found on a one year old. I have no experience with these diapers on a newborn or smaller child. My daughter was approximately 19 pounds when we started cloth diapering. She is also very tall and skinny. I have no experience with these diapers on a chubbier baby or a baby weighing less than 19 pounds. If we are blessed with another little diaper tester, I will then update the earlier reviews in an effort to give a more thorough review.
This is also true for night time testing of diapers. I have only be adventurous enough to try night time cloth diapering a handful of times and only with diapers that I have heard do well at night. I do not want to (at this time) subject my little one to night time wetness due to my review process. For those diapers that I have used at night, I will include my findings. For most diapers however, no night time use will be included in the review because the diaper has not been used for night time use. All findings of each diaper will be included in the review. I will not omit details to make the review more positive. If no night time review is listed, it was not trialed.
Hope you enjoy your time on The Mommy Goods!
Laura
