Kissaluvs OS Contour Review and Giveaway!

Fits:  7-35 pounds

Price Per Fitted:  ★★★★☆  This contour diaper retails for $10.95 at many retailers including my affiliates, links to right.  While this diaper is on the cheaper side of fitted diapers, it has many desirable features and some not-so desirable features.  It really depends on what you are looking for.  This diaper does not have a closure, therefore you can close the diaper with whatever closure device you have or nothing at all.  This can save you a ton of money in the long run, but this may not be desirable to all.

Absorbency:  ★★★★★  This diaper is extremely absorbent.  This diaper is made from knit cotton fleece and features a built in doubler that is only attached at the back in order to allow for faster drying time at well as customizable absorbency where you need it.  The doubler is backed with microfiber to add absorbency.

Fit:  ★★★☆☆  This is my personal opinion.  With lots of practice and trial and error, you will be able to find the perfect fit.  This diaper do not have a closure system but rather it has nice large tabs that you can use with the closure of your choice (pins, snappi, or nothing).  I tried using this diaper with no closure device and it just slid all over and would not stay in place, but this lead to the occasional leak due to there not being diaper in the right place to absorb the pee.  However, I do have some diaper pins and a snappi, so I did try these.  I do not have much experience with diaper pins, so I found this frustrating.  The snappi however, worked beautifully!  By simply holding the diaper in place with a diaper pin or snappi, the leaks stopped and so did the sliding of the diaper.  As with other fitteds, you do not need the perfect fit, but rather that the diaper will absorb the urine and not leak.  While I could not get the perfect fit, I was able to get this diaper on and to work well.  To fit a smaller child, you simply fold down the front flap to fit your child and then close around baby to fit.  This is about as simple as it gets with a OS diaper!  This diaper features leg elastic to contain messes around the legs.  Also, this diaper is very trim and fits well under any cover.

Ease of Use:  ★★★★☆  I found this diaper to be a challenge at times.  I blame this mostly on the fact that my toddler did not want to sit still while I fastened a snappi or pins.  However, for a mother that uses on prefolds or flats with a snappi or pins, this would be a huge step up, because it goes on baby so much easier, without breaking the budget.

Washing:  ★★★★★  This diaper washes up perfectly.  After many many uses  this diaper still looks brand new and has no stains.  Plus, since the soaker is sewn in and there is no closure device to worry about, it is an easy toss into the washer and an easy fold coming out of the dryer!

Overall Performance:  ★★★★☆  I must say, this was not my favorite diaper.  That being said, this diaper is a very inexpensive option and if you are a pro with a snappi or diaper pins, you might just love these!  They are very absorbent and they wash very well.  With a little bit of practice, this just might be the perfect and inexpensive option for many parents!  If I did not have a squirmy toddler that hates to sit still for more than 0.2 seconds, I might have had better luck with these.
