OsoCozy UnBleached Indian Prefolds Review and Giveaway

This Prefold IS included in the OsoCozy Giveaway!

Size Premie 2x6x2 – Fits 4-10 pounds
Size Infant 4x8x4 – 7-15 pounds
Size Regular 4x6x4 – 15-30 pounds
Size Premium 4x8x4 – 15-30 pounds
Size Toddler 4x8x4 – 30-45 pounds

I was given these prefolds in both the Premium and Toddler Sizes to review.

Premium Size – 20x14 inches (washed)
Toddler Size – 22x16.5 inches (washed)

You can see how much larger the Toddler size is.

Price Per Prefold:  ★★★★☆ The price for a dozen of the Premium prefolds is approximately $30 and Toddler prefolds approximately $39.  This makes each individual prefold $2.50 and $3.25, respectively.  However, the more you buy, the more you save.  So if you buy larger packages, the total price will be higher, but the price per prefold will be lower.

Absorbency:  ★★★★★  As with most prefolds, the absorbency is just unbeatable!  This prefold holds up to that high standard!  My heavy wetting daughter did not pee through these, not even once!  Every time that one of these prefolds was on her (day, nap, or night) there were always dry areas left on the prefold!  Amazing!

Ease of Use:  ★★★★☆  As with most prefolds, these come with a learning curve.  If you trifold them into a cover, each cover is a different size and you may have to fold differently to fit each cover.  The Premium size is great for during the day and for naps because it is a little smaller and more trim than the toddler size.  I used the toddler size mostly for naps (when I knew it would be a long nap) and at night as it is larger, can absorb more, and is bulkier.  On my skinny 24 pound daughter, I did prefer the premium size.  However, I love that OsoCozy has made a toddler size for larger children.  Many other kinds of diapers only fit until 30-40 pounds.  The toddler size prefold is designed to fit up to 45 pounds.  This is great for larger kids and for kids that do not potty train as early as others.

Total Stars:  13/15

  1. I was hoping you were going to compare the regular to the premium since I currently own the infant size and will be needing to move up a size soon. I can see the layering differences, but I was wondering how bulky one was compared to another. Still, you have a very nice write up. Thank you.

  2. There is no difference in construction between the Premium and the Toddler. Both are 4x8x4. But of course, depending on how you fold or wrap, the Toddler will be more bulky. I have not used the regular size, which comes 4x6x4 and would presumably be less bulky.
